The Ragbirds. Ypsilanti Michigan is home for the Ragbirds. Creating traditional folk music with global grooves. They have strong beliefs in the beauty of poetry, positive music, and the power of danceable rhythms. www.theragbirds.com

Greensky Bluegrass. From Kalamazoo Michigan they have performed at festivals and theatres all across the US. Winners of the prestigious Telluride Bluegrass band competition in 2006. Their sound is a fusion of acoustic roots music mixing original compositions with traditional bluegrass. www.greenskybluegrass.com

Big Leg Emma. One of the hardest working touring bands creating music on feel, vibe, and heart felt lyrics. From Jamestown New York they blend a unique mix of folk, rock, bluegrass, and alternative country. www.biglegemma.com

Aphrodesia. This San Francisco 11 piece ensemble has an eclectic sound featuring rich vocals, lush horns, and polyrhythmic funk that Global Rhythm magazine called “A Pan-African mash up”. Aphrodesia has built a strong reputation as a powerhouse live act. They also have a commitment to social change traveling the country on a vegetable oil powered bus. www.aphrodesia.org

Railroad Earth. Formed in 2001 in the state of New Jersey. They use unique instrumentation when it comes to their approach to traditional folk and bluegrass music. Railroad Earth thrives in a live setting due in part to remarkable songs, seamless arrangements, and superb musicianship of all six members in the band. www.railroadearth.com

Jim Lauderdale. With roots starting in the Carolina’s Jim has had a great success in both country and bluegrass. He is part of Nashville’s “A” list of songwriters. His unique sense of melody and lyric’s create a sound that is all his own. Jim has worked on albums such as “Wait Till Spring” with Donna The Buffalo, and his latest release “The Bluegrass Diaries” became a Grammy award winner in 2008.

**Jim is sad to announce that he has canceled his dates for the months of July and August. He is currently undergoing treatment for his vocal cords. Jim hopes to make it back very soon, and would like to apologize to his fans for missing them this time around. Donna The Buffalo.
The band calls Trumansburg, New York home when not on tour. Their music can best be described as a mix of Americana, folk, and roots. Known for their long and engaging live performances Donna’s songs reflect “love and humanities in the universe”. www.donnathebuffalo.com
