In its inaugural season, the Silver Maple Music Festival is shaping up to be an extraordinary day! The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, Michigan. The venue is home to the West Michigan Whitecaps, but has also hosted multiple other events including concerts, basketball tournaments and car shows. We think the Festival will be a perfect fit and are excited to begin work on what is sure to be a fabulous event.

This year's festival will include continuous performances on the main stage by bands from all over the country . In addition to this great line-up we are putting together other activities. We are looking for vendors that have family friendly activities for the fans. Some ideas are instrument making, kid's crafts and music lessons.

The Grand Rapids Children's Museum will be here offering free face painting and tambourine making for all kids from noon - 7:00 p.m.
